Today I Feel Like A Man

Last night was spent making certain that my new headboard, fashioned out of an old work table, did not come crashing onto the floor therefore winning me most hated new neighbor award.
Although my dear friend Rich, who is always my best handyman, did most of the drilling...and measuring...and thinking (because he is a genius), I certainly lifted my weight in wood a number of times. In fact, I hereby announce tomorrow "National No Lifting Day" and nobody has to lift a damn thing.
Yes, I feel very much like a man because this morning I decided to move this ginormous rug made of 50 other rugs into the bedroom AFTER Rich and I spent a good 45 min positioning it in the living room last night, and AFTER the King size bed had been assembled in the tiny space. I am certain I must have had that adrenaline rush thing happen, like when moms lift cars off their babies, because when I looked in the living room this morning and saw the rug in there, it appeared that a crazy person had decorated my place in the middle of the night. I knew I had to act quickly.

Looks awesome Anna! I'm so into that new headboard! Can't wait to see it in real life sometime soon!
